I know what they say about twin co sleeping but I'm keeping watch of them constantly and I just can't seperate them! I want them to feel close to each other like they did in the womb! Am I wrong ? + it's winter here so another body's heat would be good?

Recommendation to reduce any risk of SIDS (sudden infant death syndrome) is to not have any objects with them in their crib, like blanket or stuffed animals, for the first 12 months. I think co sleeping is fine, I would just get rid of all the other things in the crib and use fleece pjs if your concerned about temperature.

My boys are almost 7 months old and have been sleeping together since the day they were born...they sleep in their crib next to my bed so I am able to keep a close eye on them. And I still swaddle them at night.. so they are not doing to much moving around at bed time...I do plan on separating them soon though

Nothing wrong with co sleeping but along with the other comments. No blankets, animals, pillows, or etc in the crib until they r 12 months. My daughter is 14 months and we just introduced a blanket. Newborns also can't sweat so they can over heat very easily.

If my twins want to sleep together after they are born I will definitely allow it. That being said, when they start rolling around and such, I'm splitting them up, it's not worth it, I'll put their cribs side by side so they can still be close but not together.  And no blankets, just comfy pj's.

Everything I've read has said that co-sleeping for the first couple of months is perfectly fine. It's supposed to help even their heart rate and keep them on the same sleep schedule. But not to do it past 3 months because it can get dangerous with them starting to move a lot more.

The American Academy of Pediatrics recommends that twins sleep separately to reduce the risk of SIDS. That's who I would go with. I don't have twins, but I don't think that having them co-sleep is worth risking their lives.

Also, that blanket makes me nervous.

If mine love it then Ill be doing the same.  We have 2 cots and its winter in Australia So if they love sleeping together then yes I will co sleep them 😊 theyre gorgeous btw
