Hey guys, so last appointment with my doctor they wanted to give me the tDAP vaccine. I am for vaccines and was ready to receive it. They had me sign a waiver and the second check off was that it was not recommended if you are allergic to latex, which I am. I can't even eat bananas because they surprisingly naturally secrete latex in their peels, I'm that allergic so the doctor said I couldn't. I'm worried now that my son won't be protected against these diseases until 2 months when he can get the vaccine. I don't plan on leaving the house or having him exposed to too many people other than doctor visits those first two months anyways but has anyone else been in this situation? Did you ask family to get the vaccine? My boyfriend will be getting it.
