Emma went home with oxygen on day 119 and within 45 days was completely off O2.
She is a 2x NEC survivor. Over 2 dozen blood transfusions. ROP. multiple infections. 3 picc lines. A central line. Surgery. A tumor by her heart . A failing liver. And then, literally from 41 weeks-43 weeks everything just made a turn. She learned to eat and could tolerate feedings. She was breathing with little support. Her liver slowly healed and now she is 10 months (6 adj) and hitting all of her adjusted milestones.
Her cancerous tumor also disappeared! ❤️
(Emma was supposed to be born in October '16 was born July '16. Can't withstand leaving the group yet that I started in!)
