Is genital herpes transmissible through the open sores on genitals? Or the fluids like semen, vaginal fluids? What Exactly carried the virus? I always wondered how exactly it can transmit to someone like if the outbreak isn't touching the other persons skin. Just wondering

It can be spread through the open sores. And also it can be spread through the skin, even when there's no outbreak present, which is called shedding. (The chances of this are less likely) . But it's not spread through bodily fluids like semen & vaginal discharge x
