Didn't think it would affect me

It took almost 2 years and 3 rounds of Clomid to get pregnant with our son.

DH and I have been talking about baby #2, and have thought about TTC again before the end of the year.

We had a bit of unprotected fun recently (a week ago, twice in 3 days) and I realized it was around the same time in my last Clomid round that I got pregnant. I'm never regular, so I'm not sure if I even ovulated, but I've been having some cramping and backache like I did before.

It would be a miracle/surprise if I got pregnant on my own, but I figure it's not impossible...

I took a test this past weekend, just out of curiosity, and it was negative. I know it was probably way too early so I was expecting that result. What I wasn't expecting was to be so sad, because we aren't even trying yet.

How pathetic, right?
