Which order for girl name?

I'm torn on two names (girl) that we really like!  My husband is especially fond of Mead as the first name.  I like Marette (combination of grandmothers names on both sides), but I am afraid people will call her Mari, which has a really negative association for me.  Last name Barnes.  Just posting this for fun!  :)

Marette is super close to my name so I may be biased. But I love it! And no one has ever shortened it to Mari for a nickname so I don't think you'll have to worry about that. Either choice is great.
