Do you think the show "shameless" trying to show sexism exists or is sexist?

Question

In one episode Frank (grown man) was so out of it and was saying "no, no, no" Karen (under 17) continued having sex with him he never wanted that.

Another episode Debbie (13/14) brings the guy she liked to her room to shake off his intoxication btw he's 20/21 he knocked out she is seen looking at a condom well sex occurred. When he woke up he realized what happened and told her he had no remembrance of this said he date raped him.

It seems females get away with this in the show! Because when Debbie got molested it was taken care of. Anyone noticed this? I think either the show showing sexism is real or is sexist one or the other. Your intake?

I love Shameless. Its so f'd up and entertaining. Its just a fake show i wouldnt look at it so deep haha

I actually talked about that with my sister lol. And if I remember correctly, didn't Debbie lie and say she was on BC and that's how she got pregnant? That made me so mad.

I'm personally annoyed by the whole show though, because there's actually people in the real world like that (and unfortunately, most of my SOs family is like them). I mean, I like to watch it, but it makes me angry at the same time lol

Debbie was never molested... she said she was molested by her uncle to blackmail him into letting them stay in the house... and the girl that raped frank didn't get away with it... she turned herself in to the cops. And Debbie felt bad and didn't understand that she had actually raped her bf. She thought he was into it cuz it was her first time and didn't know what she was doing. She felt bad after when he told her she raped him.

Sadly I can't really say because I haven't seen it. I would have to personally see the before, event, and after to know how they're portraying it. Tones, music, expressions, etc really send vibes on the 'message' of a traumatic event in media.

And I find it funny when people say "it's just a ___." Damn like no one has ever thought critically about any form of media. How did you get through English class? People could use more critical thinking skills in their life.

I think those events were sexist, men can get raped too, but because they're men we don't take it as seriously " oh their dick was hard they had to like it " 
Woman's vaginas get wet while being raped, it's what the body naturally does. 
So yes in my opinion it is sexist.

But Debbie was never molested she lied about it so they could keep the house
