mother in law probs.. 😏

So my mother in law told me wayyyy before I got pregnant, that she doesn't believe in baby showers and she'll just give us money. (Which is fine, my mom wants to plan it) so my mom is already planning everything and I'm looking at places to have it. So I asked my MIL to make a list of people she would like to invite. So she was asking me who's paying, and for what. She volunteers herself to pay for the cake and the center pieces and the favors. And that's fine, if she wants to be apart of the baby shower.. I don't want anyone to feel left out. So I was showing her pictures of cakes I really liked for boy or girl. And she said it so cocky, saying I have NO say in it.. she's paying for it. ( I'm a very quite person and I don't like confrontation, and I'm a people pleaser) so I didn't say anything. I talked to my husband and he said he'll talk to her. Am I being emotional? Like I rather pay for my stuff if I have no say in it. What should I say? And what can I say without starting a fight or drama? Any advice will be helpful. Thanks in advance
