prenatals????

Hi moms! im curious to know what prenatals your all taking. Im taking an over the counter Womans One a Day the ones with DHA. Is this ok??? Did any of you take prenatals before seeing the doctor. If not should I stop taking them? Comment please. First time mom and Im a bit nervous.

If you can afford it try a whole food based prenatal. They're better than conventional synthetic ones.

Pink Stork Folic Acid
Vita fusion Prenatal Gummies
Spectrum Essentials Prenatal DHA

Sounds like a lot! But I did my research for the amounts of folic acid and DHA needed and no gummies fit those recommended amounts (I can't do he huge horse pills) so with those 4 vitamins I am confident I'm getting what I need, especially with all the food aversions I'm having 🤦🏼‍♀️

I took nature made with DHA . You just want to make sure you're taking one without a DHA which you obviously are. They're all pretty much the same, you can't go wrong with a prenatal. Don't stop taking them, you will continue to take them throughout your entire pregnancy and while you breastfeed. Your doctor doesn't need to OK a prenatal.

Just make sure it has folic acid. And yes, it's totally fine to start taking them before you see a doctor (in fact, you SHOULD!)

The only prenatal that hasn't given me nausea or nasty burping is the Trader Joe brand.

I was taking Nature Made with DHA but switched to New Chapter Perfect Prenatal (food based and has Folate)
