The man I am in a relationship with now gave me HSV-2. Surprisingly I wasn't mad at him at all. We used condoms, he didn't know he had a breakout or had herpes at all. It was just bad luck. I am a firm believer in everything happens for a reason so there was no need to take it out on him. I was just diagnosed in may so it's fresh. I got over my initial breakout which was THE WORST. (Never been in so much pain). But I'm just out here looking for people in the same situation as I am. Anyone else have a partner with HSV-2 and have any tips on how to prevent breakouts? I am interested in having children when I am older too so I would also like to know about people's experiences with childbirth. If anyone has any advice I would greatly appreciate it! Thanks ladies :)
