Wondering Now!

So me and my current S/O have been back and forth the last month. He found out I was communication with an old friend of mine(every now and then) and we're now trying to mend things back up. But my thing is he doesn't even know when he'll be ready to be with me. We've been TALKING for a year. Haven't even been a couple. We just agreed to not talk to other people but I went out on that agreement after talking to my old friend. So now he has me thinking, even when we get over this when will he be ready for a relationship. Before me he was married and they have a child together. I don't doubt he loves me and I don't wanna rush him to be with me but I mean a whole year. He still doesn't know when he will want that. I don't wanna wait around forever.
