Ex Boyfriend

So my ex boyfriend dumped me during spring break and the previous spring break my other ex dumped me and he knew about it yet broke up with me when he was gone on spring break anyways. We hung out everyday and we had a lot of fights during the last month of our relationship. More than during our entire relationship combined. He told me he fell out of love with me but a part of me feels like he was just in love with the freedom of spending 10 days without me when we would spend everyday together.... my best friend is like his cousin and she and I both thought we'd get back together when he got back, but I think I ruined it by freaking out on him.... it's been a few months since and I got a new boyfriend and he got a new girlfriend but me and my boyfriend broke up and I'm still not golfer my ex.... even my best friend, the one that's like his cousin, still sees us getting back together in the future but idk what to do because he has a girlfriend and I don't want false hope.... I need advice on what to do, I've been texting him to get my stuff back from him but he keeps everything short.
