best wraps/ carriers?

I need the best brands of wraps or carriers with the best lower back support. I have a lower back injury so support while baby wearing is a MUST.

It's definitely personal preference. I suggest looking for a lending library near you and renting a few differents carriers at a time to see what you like. You can also find a local babywearing group on fb, some offer lending library's and some do meet ups where can try out other carriers.

I have several carriers- 1 Lenny Lamb, 4 Tulas (1 is a ftg) and 4 Lillebabys. I am currently selling and gifting my Tulas to fund more Lillebabys as those are my personal favorite. Both are great brands, but for me personally, the Tula hurts my back and for some reason it digs into my hips and after wearing longer than 15-20minutes, my right leg gets that numb feeling. I prefer Lillebaby, eveb over my Lenny, because of their Lumbar Support, the option of crossing the straps, the material is much softer (more specifically their Embossed and Organic collenction), you can wear baby straight from birth assuming baby meets their minimum weight requirement (7lbs-45lbs) without the need of an insert like Tula Standard (except for their new ftg of course), as well carry 6 different ways (newborn froggy style, newborn legs out, hip cary, back carry, front carry, forward facing carry). Lenny you can't wear baby until they fit knee to knee, they don't allow inserts currently (most babies don't typically fit until 4-6months depending on baby). I also really love the Lille offers two way adjustable straps, making it easier for both front and back carries. You can't comfortably adjust the straps on Tula or Lenny when front carrying, you have to pull the straps behind you which can be quite difficult. Lillebaby also has a much better pocket and an adjustable head rest.

Like I said earlier though, it truly is all personal preference and it's better to test a few out before committing.

Tula!! I've used their carries/ring slings for the past 3 years and never had an issue. I have back issues as well and they give me good support when worn right.
