belly button ring infection??

Yesterday morning I woke up with this bump on my piercing, it itches soooooo bad. I've had this piercing for 4 years now and I've never expierenced this. If anyone has ever had this what do I put on it?

Try to rub on it and see if anything comes out of it or pops. It looks like it's getting infected. I've had mine for 3 years and if it gets too dry it will start feeling infected too.

It looks like the red dot is next to the piercing instead of in it, so it could just be a big bite.

If it's an infection though, keep it DRY. Make sure to dry the inside of your belly button as well, and with a steril q-tip, gently wipe away any puss. With another clean q-tip, massage in tea tree oil after showering with non scented, ANTI-BACTERIAL soap. Remember, with oil - little goes a loooooong way. Don't pull on it, and don't continue to touch it, that will just introduce more bacteria to the site and irritate it. Do not use any kind of solution "made for piercings". A lot of them have ingredients used in embalming fluid and are actually NOT good for your skin, especially if you have an infection or an open wound.
