Getting a mole checked for the first time

I have an appointment in a half hour to get a mole on the back of my head looked at, I've had it since I was little and obv I've only seen it recently BC I had someone take a picture but my mom was concerned about it so I made an appointment and I. Am. Terrified... I pray that it isnt anything to worry about but I'm still scared, and I'm sure if it needs removed that'll hurt very bad
