Birth Control suggestions?

Hey there! I'm a month pp and will soon be choosing a birth control. Does anyone have a birth control that they really like? I'm trying to go for a low to no hormone option because added hormones messes with my depression badly. Not going to get an IUD because I had one for 3 years and the entire time, it was terrible. I'm also looking for one that doesn't have the weight gain side effect since I am already overweight and finally losing weight healthfully. And I'm exclusively breastfeeding so I guess there are some I can't use with that. I feel like with all this criteria I'm looking for a unicorn ><

You are looking for a unicorn. My husband and I just had this talk. I was going to do the paraguard and my Dr recommended the merana...

My husband and I talked and I didn't want anything with hormones...as I struggle with depression and pregnancy has been an emotional wreck and we both really just want my body to get back to normal before introducing anything else to interfere with my emotions.  He is also kind of against the IUD as he doesn't want anything to happen to me.

At this time we have decided to use condoms exclusively and see from there. No-one really likes condoms but I appreciate my husband's concern for my health and wellbeing. ❤❤
