Be kind to everyone you meet. Don't be a bitch if he has not done anything to earn your ire. :/ just because he isn't the most attractive shouldn't mean you get to treat him badly. Instead, sit him down and nicely tell him that you have noticed that he is nice to you (you should appreciate it!) but that you don't feel comfortable because the feeling is not mutual. You can offer him your friendship without being a bitch about it. All it takes is a bit of consideration. :)
