If your son raped a girl would you protect him?

I'm doing this to prove something, my rapist mother blamed me I want to see how many women would protect their son's if he raped someone. You'd be amazed how many women defend this.

My family blamed me and took up for my brother. And yes you would be amazed how many women would be on the sons side. Me personally I couldn't even be around my son again or talk to him if I found out he did something like that.

Being I was raped and how it ruined me. No I wouldn't, I would be so heart broken but he has to go.

My rapist was a child hood friend and my brothers BFF as we are all 1-2yr difference. His family was close to ours and we spent time at e/o houses as family friends. The fact she had no remorse or tried to reach out instead paid 50.000.00$ to bail him out with all the evidence made me sick.

I'd love my son and be there for him. But he'd have to take responsibility for his actions. I make sure of that. I don't have kids yet but if there's one thing my parents taught me is that as parents one of their main jobs is to teach responsibility and accountability. So I think I'd be a bad mother if I tried to protect him. Now I wouldn't just jump on the band wagon that my kid did it- I'd talk to them and get their side. I'd want proof personally. But if it came out that he did it then he'd be in trouble with me and the law. However, not all girls are truthful when it comes to rape (highly infuriating since it degrades every victim's stories and people become less likely to listen to the real rape victims) and if that was the case I'd be his biggest defender.
