when should I bring up planning future?!? LDR HELP!! :)

Question

So I've been dating a guy for a week, I met him recently at a boat party (he was visiting Toronto from Detriot 4 hr drive) and we really like each other. We're going to New York together in August so we have that to look forward to, and he may be able to visit me this month.

When can we start discussing the future? I don't want this to be long distance for a long time, we are both in college however. I'll be done this coming April and I'll be willing to move so I can be 2hrs away at most. Should I tell him this now  or wait?

I think you should wait because 1 week is way too fast to talk about moving. It might scare him too. April is more than half a year away so why the rush? Don't plan your life around a guy, move for yourself because if not you'll build resentment. Long distance is not easy, it's good to have an end goal but don't rush things. Toronto and Detroit isn't really that far away so you should meet up more often before you talk about the future.

Yes take your time like Joy said. Take it day by day. Guys do not like that. It os going to make you seem so easy. Just go with the flow. 1 week is wayyyy too early to start planning a future. You may plan in your head but you cannot tell him yet.
