Peanut Butter - when are/did you introduce?

We just moved to france in march and here our pediatrician gave us a print out at our last visit (8 months) and it's recommended here to introduce everything, incl dairy and allergens  (slowly and one at a time of course & avoiding sugars etc) starting at 8/9 months. So far, my baby had white fish last week, some dairy (quark for babies - kind of similiar to greek yoghurt) and strawberries just this weekend. It's interesting to see the difference tho, since they also say mild spices are ok and good to expose baby to (to cultivate their taste). Avoiding salt and added sugars of course.

We tried around 6.5 months with my home visit nurse. Only a tiny bit mixed with breastmilk. No reaction. Haven't tried again, but I need to go buy more anyway lol I plan on trying next week when he's closer to 8 months. He's also just recovering from being sick for almost a month, so that's why we waited so long to try again.

I tried it at 7 months (although my doc suggested 4-6 months 😳. We did it right outside the ER, just in case.

My baby has allergies so we get advice from the dietician and she's says to introduce all potential allergens i.e. Wheat, nuts, eggs, soya asap

We were very nervous about peanut butter (my younger sister has a severe allergy to all nuts). I know it's nots meant to be genetic maybe, but still caused us some panic! So our paediatriction said to try it in the docs office lobby before our 6 month appointment! She's had it a handful of times since (on toast) and no reaction. She has a cow milk protein intolerance, so we aren't doing yogurt. And the doc said no rush on eggs for whatever reason. Haven't trued fish yet!

I had peanut butter while I was breastfeeding, but he's had it himself since his was 6 months and he loves it!!!
