Advice on anal sex

So my boyfriend and I are in an LDR and last time I saw him we talked about trying anal (he's done it before and I haven't). I agreed to trying it but I'm a little nervous. He's coming to visit next weekend and I'm guessing we'll try it then. Does anyone have any tips or advice?
