Anyone else have a baby who flat out panics when put in their crib? My youngest (4.5 mo) is terrified of it! Panicky cry, wide eyes, goes all rigid. I've looked at things from his perspective and removed anything from around his crib that could throw a weird shadow or could be even the least bit scary. He doesn't sleep on me ever anymore, crashes out just fine on the couch, floor, our bed, or swing, but downright freaks about his crib. He's used to the room because we go in there daily to hangout and "talk" and play.

I've tried just letting him cry himself to sleep but all that happens is he goes hoarse from crying. He might doze off for a few minutes here and there but wakes right back up screaming.

Help!!! I can't take sleeping on the couch anymore!
