Been trying to get my baby to eat table food since he will be one soon but he doesn't like it. Any advice?

Just keep offering food. Keep it simple until you start to find things he likes. I've heard it can take a baby up to fifteen tries to get used to a new food. I've also heard that some babies won't take to table food if they're too hungry or too full, so experiment with how close to meal time you offer breastmilk/milk/formula.

Sometimes lots of food on the tray can also be overwhelming, so make sure the pieces are small and manageable and offer only a few pieces at a time rather than loading up the tray.

I've also found my son prefers certain shapes over others. For example, he won't touch spaghetti noodles but he loves penne. Tastes the same, but the shape is easier for him.

Maybe try to chop the spaghetti into tinier bite size pieces, like a little bigger than rice, spoon feed him a couple bites and then see if he'll grab some pieces himself. Long noodles are kinda hard for them to figure out. Bite size is the way to go, spoon feed him oatmeal, yogurt etc but also leave some finger foods like cheerios, peas, chopped meat, on the tray at the same time so he realizes it's all gotta go.

I do one bit of table food and one bit spoon fed for my boy who will be one on the 19th. One thing he loves is a slice of toast with butter. I cut it into maybe three or four fingers of toast for him and he eats this then I spoon feed him scrambled eggs. So he gets to do some himself. Any snacks throughout the day like carrot puffs or biscuits he eats himself as they are small and easy to handle.

Also Maybe try pieces of pasta cut up it might be easier to pick up.

We've been incredibly lucky with our little guy, who will eat honestly anything we give him! However, he prefers to eat at least two different things at once and will cry if he only has one food option. For some reason he just likes multiple flavors at a time!

Definitely recommend bite sized pieces to eat, softer foods that don't necessarily need chewing. Bananas, steamed veggies, etc. And try a LOT of different things to figure out what flavors your little one likes. And remember, just because he doesn't seem fond of it the first time, doesn't mean he doesn't like it! It might be a "try again in a month or so" food.
