what other thing I can give my 10 month old

Question

My 10 month old have dirrhea real bad . He on medicine for his hand foot and mouth disease. Which got to take for ten days . . I'm call my doc wed when he come back from vacation. But I need help .

Call the office anyhow they will have someone available to help.
Give your child Probiotics.
Give your child bland foods like banana, plain applesauce without added sugar, plain toast if baby is able to eat toast. Water, Pedialyte....

FYI-  Hand foot and mouth is a virus. Antibiotics aren't going to help him.

But ditto what everyone else said. Follow he brat diet - Bananas, Rice, Apple Sauce, and Toast (I buy 3x-4x apples at the store and then make my own when LO has a tummy bug. Also - make sure your giving lots and lots of fluid. Pediltye is gonna be your best friend.  If baby is on formula, check with your Ped but we did 1/2 formula & have Pediltye sometimes to help keep LO hydrated.

Most antibiotics will give diarrhea.  You can try yogurt. It is a good bacteria and will help the tummy! My ex mil told me this when my now 18 year old was a baby and had many ear infections. I thought she was crazy but it did work.

Just make sure your baby stays hydrated as much as you can. If not go to the ER
