TMI pics on Apple products

When a pic is flagged with a TMI sticker on my android, only the sticker is displayed, allowing me to choose if I want to click to see the pic.  On my iPad, however, the TMI sticker and picture is displayed...Kind of defeats the purpose of the TMI sticker.  Is there a way to prevent pics from showing until I click on it, or can this be an update?  If not, I likely won't use this app on my apple anymore.  Thanks 🙂
