Okay moms! So I'm a nanny for a 2 year old and a 1 year old and their mom has asked me to join them on a camping trip for her work to help with he kids while she works, and also for fun. All costs will be taken care of, but I need to figure out what to charge for helping with the kids. I'm not sure what I'll have to actually be doing and how much I'll actually have to watch the kids, considering she and their dad will be there, but she's asking me and I need to know ASAP. The trip is at the end of the month. I charge $10/hour normally, but usually only work a few hours a day and this is totally different. I was thinking something like just $30/day, which would end up being $90 and seems fair for me, for 3 days, which food/bed/transport/fun provided? What do you moms and/or any other nannies out there think??
