Semi Truck Driver?

Is anyone's SO a truck driver??? Husband is considering and i wanted info on how the pay is aswell as how it will affect the relationship?

My husband was all his life and currently got a new job where half of the time he drives a truck and half of the time operates cranes... he did heavy haul. So oversized loads. He had long days about 12-18 hours a day. And started real early in the mornings anywhere from 12 am-6 am. So when he comes home he wants to do nothing but sleep. He would barely go out of town and usually it was local so he would come home every night thankfully :)
