Anyone else's ob not do an ultrasound until 20 weeks? I am driving myself crazy trying to find a good price to do the ultrasound independently, but I am so peeved that I will have to pay for this myself when it was 100% covered with my daughter. I am 12 weeks now. Part of me just wants to wait until 20 weeks, but what if something isn't developing right? We wouldn't know until 20 weeks! I absolutely love my doctor and wouldn't dream of switching, but I need reassurance that everything will be ok without a first trimester ultrasound. My husband and I are 30/31 and we have no prexisting conditions except that I started this pregnancy overweight. We have a beautiful and healthy 2 year old daughter.
