period forever??

so i started my period on the 3rd of this month, usually my periods last 7 days but the past few months have been shorter... i thought my period ended on the 7th of this month because all i experienced that day was a small amount of spotting, each day since then i have been spotting more and more, very dark blood and now i'm having blood clots come out as well, why is this happening, am i still on my period?
