friends with benefits

Okay so I've been out of a relationship for a bit now. And I've had this guy who's been my friend since September of 2016. He recently had his girlfriend break up with him due to him leaving for the army in July. Today he  expressed to me that he wants to be fuck buddies. Is it bad that I'm considering it..? I mean us girls have our needs too and he's not in a relationship. But I can't help but kind of feel like a slut for considering to be fuck buddies with him.
