Alzheimers

My great grandpa suffers from Alzheimer's and I went to visit him with my mother, sister, and brother. When we got there I could tell he was confused, but it only hit me when he asked who I was and if I was my brother child. I can't talk to anyone about because my family doesn't want people meddling in our business. If anyone has had any experience with this I would love to talk.
