are these levels showing miscarriage?

I thought I was 8w3d pregnant and went on my first prenatal check up yesterday. Doctor couldn't find a heart beat and said it rather looks small to be 8weeks+. He asked me over and over again if I had my dates right and I'm sure I do because I wrote down everything for menstrual, to conception to ovulation down.

He sent me to get bloodwork done and just got my results.

Pregestorone is 7.5 and Hcg is 33,000.

He's saying at 33k he should have seen a heartbeat. And 7.5 is low.

Can anyone give me advice or opinion please

Normally when they don't see a heartbeat they send you for a second scan about a week later to identify whether or not the pregnancy is viable.

I've read stories on here about dates just being off. That wasn't the case for me, but I'll keep my hopes up for you 💕

I saw heartbeat at 5.5 days and heard it a week later with abdominal ultrasound. My levels around the first scan were 48,839. I think levels should be above 6,000 before you see anything. What kind of ultrasound did they do?

After couple of days, they should do the bloodwork again to see in which direction pregnancy is progressing... also if ur progrsterone is low in next bloodwork, they should recommend progesterone supplements.. usually without the bloodwork, ob should not try to see the heartbeat first..
