Advice on getting baby to nap in her crib

I nurse her to sleep and she falls asleep in my arms and then usually will wake up and cry if I put her down. if I don't pick her up fast enough she fully wakes up and then won't nap. She'll go the whole day with out napping which I don't think is healthy. I've tried putting her down when she's almost asleep but the same thing happens.  At night I nurse her to sleep like normal but she usually will go to sleep in her crib with out problem and doesn't cry when I put her down. I can't get anything done during the day and could really use advice on how to get her to nap with out me
