I guess I wouldn't really care, as long as the person who drinks isn't holding my child when they've been drinking. Also assuming you guys aren't together, if you have a legal custody agreement, you can't control who is or isn't around the baby when he/she is with the father. At least, that's how it is in ny.

I mean do all these things make you fear for baby's life. I wouldn't be concerned about the drinking unless the person would be left alone with baby or they become violent. Also depression isn't really something to use as a reason. Plenty of parents have depression and take care of their children. As long as you think dad is capable of caring and providing for baby I wouldn't be too worried.
