any point treating thrush?

I've taken it twice already and it didn't help both times, now I'm being asked to do it the 3rd time. I had a swab and the only thing that came back was thrush. The doctor told me that it isn't reoccurring for me and can get treated with the pessary etc. I also have strep B. So should I just wait til after birth to treat the yeast because it doesn't seem to be going anywhere?
