Positive OPK during ovulation?

Is it possible to get a positive opk during ovulation as well as before it? I had what I thought was a positive yesterday evening and we had sex. This morning was negative and I've had mild cramps which I think is ovulation. However this evening I got another positive, darker than last night's. Is it possible that I have ovulated today?

I have been ttc for well over a year and using OPKs for about a year off and on. This month I decided was going to be last month before going to see a specialist so I've been doing lots of OPKs to try our best this month!

Having said that, we have done it 3 times in the last few days and I don't think SO will be up for it tonight yet again, especially as we're having the highest temperatures of the year! Will last night be enough?
