Rape Kink/Fantasies (trigger warning)

How do you feel about rape fetishes? I had never heard about them until a few months and am not sure how to feel. On one hand, I understand that it can be consensual "role-play", and whatever floats your boat. On the other hand, it feels strange that people get turned on by one of the most horrendous, life-changing events a person can go through. What are your opinions? :) Also, no hate to those that have this fetish! I don't think I have a particular feeling towards it, am just curious!!
