Humble moments throughout the day 😊😏

My best friend/sister lost her first husband when she was young. He was truly her best friend, her soul mate. That was her first and only true love. It was a devastating time when she lost him to cancer. Before he left he told her this, "every time you see a cardinal think of me".

She said after he passed, every time she saw a cardinal, she thought of him and knew he was checking up on her from Heaven. It was those moments that got her through the day sometimes.

After we became very close I began to notice seeing cardinals outside my window every now and then. I live in Indiana so that's pretty rare, even though it's our state bird!

Every time I see one I think of Kevin just coming by one his wife's close friends to see how she's doing. And every time I see one I make sure to say, "hi Kevin😊"
