Preterm Labor!?

Question

I was told the space between my vagina and cervix were just under 3cm and they like it to be 3cm or over. They said this could cause preterm labor. Has anyone else had this happen to them? This is my first baby and I'm only 19 weeks and I'm scared to deliver my baby too early!

My doctor told me 2 was bad. And over 2 is good. If that's the case you have to get your cervix stitched. As I have pre term labor and with my current pregnancy I had my cervix checked every 2 weeks. And they said if it was shortening they have to stitch it up. I am currently on preogesterone shots until 36 weeks. But the looks of it is saying this baby is trying to come before 34 weeks!

Ask about vaginal progesterone. Or a cerclage, it could be incompetent cervix
