coming off the pill
Here is a quick history
- was on the pill for 10 yrs
- have been off the pill for 10 months
- took 3 months to get a 'period'.
- periods light lasting 2-3 days
- had mid cycle spotting for the first 9 months off the pill
- finally on month ten I had no spotting and 9th and 10th periods have been quite painful ( laying in bed with a hot pack on the first day of bleeding )
Do you think that the painful periods are a sign of the return of my fertility?
Maybe I was only having break through bleeding before?
We have been TTC the entire 10 months with no luck.
I have ultrasound showing polycystic ovaries, but bloodwork comes back normal.
