Is the best time to let your boyfriend finish inside of you near your period? (I'm on birth control)

I usually let my bf finish when the first or 2nd day of my period week when it's light or barley started yet. Is this risky? I'm also on birth control so I'm aure that makes a difference with some extra protection

You're on birth control so you'll be protected at any time during the month. If you weren't using any contraception the only way you could get pregnant on your period is if it was at the end and you happened to ovulate early afterwards. Usually that happens if your periods tend to be irregular.
