So I've been at home with our baby for 8 months. I haven't had any money since I'm not working unless I do some chores for my mom when I go to visit her. I was wanting a new hobby so I decided to try to make a quilt with all of my high school shirts. Well I had a gift card from hobby lobby that would pay for most of the supplies and then we had a yardsale that I could use to pay for the rest of the stuff I needed to make a quilt (sewing kit and machine). Well someone put unauthorized charges on my card and I ended up paying my car insurance late making a late fee. I didn't want to tell my SO I didn't have the money to pay for all of insurance and late fee so I had to take back the only thing I've bought myself in years..... I haven't told my SO I took the machine and supplies back yet because I know he will be upset but we are extremely tight on money and I felt terrible to ask for the money.... especially since we think our fridge is about to give out.... why do I feel so sad about this!? It was a sewing machine that hadn't been taken out of the box yet. I'm sure I'll have another yardsale at the end of the summer to get rid of the stuff that didn't sale this past time. Why have I sat here and cried about a stupid sewing machine!? 😑😫😔
