Nipple piercings

Okay soooo, I really want to get my nipples pierced and my husband said he thinks it would be sexy. BUT, I use to have my belly button pierced and it rejected it causing a keyloid to form (a bubble of scar tissue) and I also use to have my cartilage pierced but my body rejected that as well, I want them pierced sooooo bad but I'm so nervous my body will reject it just like my belly button, and cartilage. I have my ears pierced 2 different times and they are okay, I'm just wondering if since my nipples are a different tissue than my naval, and cartilage if the outcome might be different? Maybe take a lower gauge? Feed back would be much appreciated.
