No, it's not positive until the test line is the same color or darker than the control line. I usually test twice a day starting on cycle day 10 -- I have 28 day cycles. And don't test with first morning urine for ovulation tests, test late morning or afternoon and again late afternoon early evening if you want to test twice a day. Hope that helps!

No. The test line will be darker or as dark as the control line. 
The right line is the control line and the left line is the test line. It's darker than the control line so it's positive. Hope that helps
