baby boys with curly hair

My son has a lot of thick curly hair at 5 months old. He's obviously way too young for a hair cut but his hair looks very unkept at times lol. I'm wondering if anyone has any hairstyles in mind that are fitting for a little boy? If he were a girl he'd have pigtails or something for special occasions.. we have a Father's Day lunch to go to today and I don't want his hair looking crazy in pictures
