labor question

Ok guys, Ive been having Braxton hicks semi regularly for 5 DAYS now.  I can tell things are happening but so so slowly. I woke up at 2 am having slightly painful contractions (still irregular), took a bath, ate something, still contracting every 20ish min, and at about 5 I passed some if not all of my mucus plug. I'm 39 weeks along so all this is fine, but should I call my dr in the morning and see if there's anything to do but wait?
