normal to cramp?

I'm 3 days late for AF and I'm having almost all pregnancy symptoms. But I started spotting today and it's not much but holy cow these cramps are bad and I never get bad cramps like this! I am in a fetal position right now! Is this normal ? Nothing in my life is stressful right now. No new diet changes and I'm not exercising more or less then normal.
