I'm so happy and excited to share my VBAC story
I'm so happy and excited to share my VBAC story!!! So last Thursday I went in to go checked and I was soft cervix and 1cm dilated but baby was still high. I was told he wouldn't be here soon and that I would most likely be scheduled for another c-section. So I was determined to try everything to help baby move in place and help my contractions get stronger. I talked to my dr and was given the okay to try a list of things I had prepared. So I started by walking Thursday night and bending and dancing. Then Friday I felt really TIERD and really nauseous.. so I did more walking I did birthball exercise, tried spicy food and all. Saturday had to do shopping for Father's Day since we were going to the lake had to buy all the food and fruit and also some extra stuff for my cousins to play with at the lake so I walked for about 8 hours also lost mucus plug. Then also had sex that night. Sunday walked a lot ate pineapples and then also swam for about a hr. I had been constipaded for about a week so I considered trying castor oil to clean me out and also to see if it really worked. So I took 2 tablespoons. Then went to bed woke up around 2:30 to poop. Lost another chunk of mucus plug.then again at 5 got up to pee but then I felt something fall out of my vagina and then a Gish of water followed... so I was like omg told my husband got my son ready left him with my mom while I was showering contractions started every 2 minutes. SUPER STRONG! Got to the hospital around 6 and got checked in and they checked my progress and I was at 41/2 cm and then moved me to labor and delivery around 7:30 got checked and I was at a 61/2 at 8:04 got the epidural. Once they were done we waiting for me to feel the effect of the epidural and then I got checked and nurse tells me it's time to push.. I was in SHOCK!!! It had been 4 hours since my water broke!! So I started pushing in 9 pushes/ 5 minutes baby was out. 😅😅😅😅😅😅 everyone was so surprised how quick I labored and how fast I opened up and how good I pushed. I was so happy I cried and my husband cut the cord! I did tear only got one stitch but this compared to a c-section this was super easy!!!!! My c-section was 19 months ago and I feel blessed to have had a successful VBAC. Thank you for ready my story
