feeding during the night?

Do you feed your baby during the night? My 5months old baby still wakes up at 2am and 5am for feeding. I wonder if it is ok for his stomach to be fed while sleeping. Co-sleeping with the baby

My baby is 5 months and we co-sleep. I roll over and pop a boob in her mouth when she wakes for a feed. She goes to bed at 7pm, first feed is at 10pm, second is around 4am. If she stirs or wakes again I take her out of her nest and just let her stay latched until she wakes at 7/730 LOL. She doesn't take a soother so it helps her and I both get more sleep.

Yes I or my husband has had to feed him practically 3 times a night since he was born - I'm grateful my partner can help i.e. I'm not breastfeeding, but I never got the sleep thru the night luck yet soooo many others claim they have. Now he's cutting teeth so yeah.... I've given up getting upset about it, no use anymore. I will not be having to feed or put this kid to bed when he's 20 so 😳😜😩

My son still feeds frequently through the night 🤷🏼‍♀️ I try encouraging extra daytime food where I can but there's only so much you can do.

If you're nursing, you still need to feed baby at night to keep your milk from going away. So there will always be at least 1 nighttime feeding for us nursing mamas My son is almost 6 months and he nurses more at night now than he did a month ago because he's going through a growth spurt. And like some other moms said, when they teeth they want this comfort more, so that's on my horizon as well. No sleep for us for awhile!

Yes, our 5 month old wakes periodically throughout the night - between 4 - 6 times. We put him to sleep in his room around 6 or 7pm per our bedtime routine, however for sanity's sake I bring him in the bed with me around 9 or 10pm when he wakes up the first time. With regard to your question - I always try and soothe him first prior to nursing, but he is still nursing at least twice throughout the night. Hopefully by 6 months or so we can wean him off relying on those night feedings - that's the goal! 🤞

My daughter is up anywhere from 2-6 times a night. She used to sleep for longer stretches but I think she's beginning to teethe now. Whatever the reason, I'm exhausted.

It's OK to feed thru the night but if u want to cut back how many times u feed thru the night I find that a little cereal in a bottle of pumped milk right at the bedtime feeding helps me out from time to time

Yes, we are doing a night feeding as I type this! Usually he gets up at least once or twice during the night. There have been occasions where it seemed that he got up hourly 😳
