Stopping BC

So need some advise ladies. I stopped taking my BC (jolivette) end of April due to our daughter turning 1 and me stopping breastfeeding and I had lost my job and lost my insurance. AF has still not come...DF and I aren't taking extreme measures to stop anything. I got my letter finally saying I qualify for healthcare help just waiting for my stuff so I can schedule my annual. Just wondering if anyone has experienced this when stopping jolivette? Starting to get worried and want to get a test and see what happens but hard to do when my fiance is always around and doesn't really let me out of his sight.
